President's Teaching Scholars Program

President's Teaching Scholars Program

The program, established as a presidential initiative, is designed to honor and reward faculty who have excelled in teaching, scholarship, and research and to endorse teaching excellence throughout the university.

The President's Teaching Scholars are a group of faculty from all three CU campuses chosen not only for skill in their own classrooms, but for their promise of improving education and enlarging its possibilities across the university.

The President's Teaching Scholars form a faculty learning community, serving as ambassadors for teaching and research, establish and develop individual, departmental, and campus-wide projects, including mentoring, aimed at the cultivation of teaching and engaged learning as well as the integration of research in teaching at the university.
