Regent Drive will be closed to all through traffic March 22-30. The closure is necessary to accommodate major utilities work that requires excavation. By closing the road during Spring Break, the construction crew will be able to complete the project quicker and cause less overall disruption to campus. The road closure will be situated between the business field and Lot 420, which is just north of the basketball/volleyball practice facility. (See map.)
CU-Boulder will host the Colorado High School Activities Association (CHSAA) tournament at Coors Event Center/Conference Center Thursday, March 13 - Saturday, March 15. Increased traffic is anticipated on campus in roadways and parking lots from Noon - 11:00 PM on Thursday and Friday, and from 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM Saturday.
July 1st - August 31st University of Colorado-Boulder employees participated in the Boulder County Clean Air Challenge. Helping to reduce vehicle emissions by choosing alternative transportation (biking, busing, vanpooling, walking, carpooling, etc.) participants improved air quality, reduced traffic congestion, and conserved energy during the higher ozone months.
Parking & Transportation Services and the Environmental Center have partnered together to make bicycle registration online and free of charge for faculty, staff, and students. You will need the bicycle's manufacturer, model, color, and serial number to register your bike.
