Forgotten Permits

If you have purchased a parking permit and have forgotten to bring it to campus, PTS can assist you. Please call our Business Office (303-492-7384) with your license number, a description of your car, and your permit lot number.

Lost / Stolen Permits

File a police report if your permit is stolen or you lose it so that it is cancelled. To obtain a new permit, read, complete and sign the Parking Permit Replacement Application form. Make a copy for your records, and bring the completed form and a photo ID to 1050 Regent Drive for your replacement permit. You will be charged a small administrative fee. Any other arrangement must be made ahead of time by calling 303-492-7384.

Reciprocal Parking

University of Colorado faculty, staff and students who have a valid parking permit (or comparable official parking identification) may take advantage of this reciprocal parking agreement. Valid parking permits include one issues by UCB, UCCS, and UC Denver. This agreement applies only for travel related to the performance of official university business and when attending classes. You must display in your car window the official parking permit that was issued to you from your home campus. The CU reciprocal parking arrangement is valid for specific designated parking lots only and availability is based on "first-come, first-served."

Since ID badges are used to access the lots on the Anschutz Medical Campus, Anschutz employees who use reciprocal parking on other campuses need to visit the parking office in the lobby of Bldg 500 and pick up a reciprocal parking permit. Those who participate in the UCD parking program may do so at no additional cost for the reciprocal permit. ID badges are not considered to be a valid parking permit.

Emissions compliance

Motor vehicle emissions testing is part of the State of Colorado's overall strategy to improve air quality around the state.

Legal residents of other states who live or work in Colorado more than 90 days in a calendar year must comply with area requirements.

More information can be obtained by calling the Air Care Colorado hotline at 303-456-7090, or by accessing their website. Emissions control inspection requirements are detailed in Colorado Revised Statute 42-4-310, and penalty fines may be assessed for non-compliance with the emissions control law.
