Read all parking lot signs carefully. Whether a parking gate is up or down, what is on the lot sign
applies. Parking lots work in different ways. Some lots are free weeknights and weekends, some
need a permit at all times, and some need a permit during the day and a $3 payment at night. For more information on different time zones for lots, and free parking times visit our Maps page.
Read the sign. All lots near the center of campus require payment at from 5 p.m. until 7:30 a.m.
weeknights and all day Saturday and Sunday even if the gate is up. If no attendant is present,
locate the pay station in the lot, pay $3 (cash or credit card), take your receipt and display it on
your dashboard. If you park from Friday evening until Monday morning, parking will cost $9 or
$3 per day. For more information on different time zones for lots, and free parking times visit our Maps page.
Pay campus meters/pay stations - seven days a week between 7:30 a.m. and 5
p.m. After 5 p.m., no payment is needed at gray or blue meters. Red meters are not meant for
long-term use, and they require a $3 per hour payment at all times.
Appeal it or pay it within five days. After five days and for three monthly intervals, late fees are
added. If the citation still has not been paid, further collection action will occur. Citations
associated with a student account, may be transferred to BRS. Non-student citations may be sent
to state collections. See the citations page for more information.
Citation payments can be made by phone (303-492-7384), credit card or debit card. We need the
citation number, vehicle license plate or billing account number. The person making a payment
must use his or her own credit or debit card, not another person’s. We accept Visa, MasterCard
and American Express credit and debit cards.
When citations and fines escalate to $50 or more, a vehicle may be subject to tow and impound whether it is parked legally or not on campus. It takes cash to get your vehicle out of impound.
We do boot vehicles while waiting for a tow truck to arrive.
