Electric Vehicle Charging Station

On this page

UC Boulder has its first-ever electric vehicle charging station on campus! Wolf Law School, PTS, and the Sustainability Office partnered to fund and install the first electric vehicle charging station on campus. The new 220-volt charging station is located west of the Wolf Law building in parking lot 470. Visitors will pay average campus meter rates and a small fee for the electricity use. This station functions as a parking payment machine, which enables campus commuters to charge their electric/hybrid vehicles while parking on campus.

How it Works

A permit for this space is not required, payment is required to utilize the charging station and space. There is a 2-hour minimum and a 3-hour maximum stay at the station.
It is a violation to be parked in the space without actively charging your hybrid/electric vehicle.

Payment

Visitors must be a ChargePoint member or pay by a contactless credit card (smart cards that contain an embedded micro-chip identification system) to use this station. The PTS Business Office has limited quantities of ChargePoint cards available now! ChargePoint memberships will still be activated on their website.
