The Buff Bus is a Housing and Dining Services sponsored and PTS administered service for students living in residence halls. The Buff Bus shuttle connects students who live in Williams Village/Bear Creek with the Main Campus. The Buff Bus operates each day and night throughout the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session.
The Buff Bus runs the Williams Village route which runs clockwise starting at Regent Drive and Colorado Avenue. See map. Detailed information on bus headways and estimated departure times can be found below.
The Buff Bus transit service does have periods of reduced service or no-service. If you are a permit holder who lives on main campus but parks at Williams Village, and you plan to remain on campus through Thanksgiving, Winter, or Spring Break, please call Parking Services at (303) 492-7384.
Typical periods of reduced service: the week before classes start, finals, and campus emergency closures.
Typical periods of no service: Labor day, fall break, winter break, Martin Luther King Jr. day, spring break, and summer.
(Hours indicate first and last departure of the day from Williams Village.)
On our regular schedule, buses run most frequently between 7:19 a.m. and 10:35 a.m. Buses run less frequently when there are fewer riders, typically before 7:19 a.m. and after 8:07 p.m. View the Buff Bus schedule.
During the last two weeks of spring semester, just before finals, our schedule will include an additional bus in the morning schedule. This will be a trial in response to our Fall 2013 Survey. We will be conducting a Spring 2014 Survey to get your feedback. We encourage you to participate at that time.
Our passengers contribute to our efficiency and everyone’s safety by observing our rules while riding the Buff Buses:
