The course is a 4-hour program presenting defensive driving techniques in an interactive format. Each session includes the most recent information regarding air bags, anti-lock brakes, road rage, safety belts, etc. The course is free of charge for university staff and students.
Individuals who drive as a requirement for their university employment and anyone under the age of 26 who drives university vehicles from Transportation Services (i.e. student, staff, or faculty) are required to take the training.

Transportation Services has mandated a two hour computerized course (Coaching the Van Driver) and a forty-five minute behind-the-wheel evaluation for 15-passenger van operators.
