Residence Hall Move-In
Residence Halls
Welcome to CU!
The residence hall move-in will take place on August 16 and 18, 2011. Parking and traffic personnel and volunteers will be on campus to provide assistance.
On these pages, you will find information including directions and maps to the unloading area for your residence hall. You will also see where you may park your car after unloading. Because of campus construction projects, this information is subject to change.
Due to increased campus traffic congestion on these days, please see Alternative Arrangements for Permit Holders.

General Information
- Please follow the Housing Department's day and time assignment for your move to campus. Early arrivals will not be allowed into residence halls.
- Thirty minute parking near residence halls is authorized for unloading. Attendants will direct you to the unloading area, and give you a parking permit to display in your vehicle. After unloading, you will be directed to outlying parking lots.
- Move-in and move-out are the only times parking restrictions are relaxed at yellow curbs on campus.
- Vehicles obstructing disability zones, or parked on sidewalks, driveways or in roadways may be cited or towed.
- This year, the Buff Bus Team will be hosting a booth in the Williams Village area to provide information on local transit, transportation options, WiFi on the Buff Buses, and handing out free giveaways! For more information click here.
