Parking and Transportation Services (PTS) announces the Discovery Express, a new Buff Bus route that runs 10 AM - 1 PM Monday through Friday. Discovery Express runs a continuous loop route from Discovery Drive (Research Park) to Benson Earth Sciences (main campus) to accommodate faculty, staff and students needing to attend/teach classes at Jennie Smoly Caruthers Biotechnology Building and SEEC in Research Park. This express route will service four stops: two stops on Discovery Drive, one stop on Innovation Drive and one stop on eastbound Colorado Ave. east of Benson Earth Sciences. Please review the Discovery Express route map for bus stop locations indicated with blue stars. The Discovery Express will arrive arrive at each stop every 15 minutes. PTS will monitor ridership and adjust route service as necessary.
The Stampede bus will continue to connect main campus and Research Park weekdays from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM with stops along Colorado Ave. and the additional short-run east and westbound Innovation/Discovery Dr. service, which loops through Research Park’s Discovery Drive/Innovation Drive and returns to main campus.
The Buff Bus is a Housing and Dining Services sponsored, and PTS administered, service for students living in residence halls. The Buff Bus shuttle connects students who live in Williams Village/Bear Creek with the Main Campus.
Athens North Route
The Buff Bus operates each day and night throughout the fall and spring semesters when classes are in session. The route runs clockwise, and stops at Stadium Plaza, Technology Learning Center and Athens North.

There will be certain times of the semester when the Buff Bus runs on a limited schedule or does not run at all. When limited service or no service will be provided, we will keep you updated with the schedule as it approaches. Please plan accordingly. If you need assistance with travel arrangements to and from the airport, you may refer to the RTD Skyride using your Student Bus Pass.
NO SERVICE: Labor Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, March 27, 2015 and summer.
REDUCED SERVICE: Beginning of semesters, finals, and campus closures.
The Libby Express is a limited service which provides transportation to main campus during breakfast, lunch, and dinner only. Week day times are 7:30am to 9:00am, 11:00am to 1:00pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm and the weekend times are 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
The Norlin Express provides limited service directly to Norlin Library 12-2 am during finals week.
If you lose an item while riding the Buff Bus you may check with any bus driver, on the same day, to see if it has been turned in. Items found on the buses and not claimed will be turned into Transportation Services' main office at the end of each day. Items will be kept for 30 days after which all unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.
