CU Psychology and Neuroscience Professor Yuko Munakata (Cognitive) and Postdocs Sabine Doebel (Munakata lab) and Andrew Gaudet (Maier/Watkins lab) were in the news. Munakata received the 2016 Outstanding Mentor award from CU's Office of Postdoctoral Affairs, and Doebel and Gaudet were named as Outstanding Postdoc Award Finalists during the recent 7th annual National Postdoc Appreciation Week. The outstanding mentor award was awarded based on “leadership, creating a supportive training environment suited to the needs of the individual postdoc, advocating for and guiding towards professional independence, and providing regular and constructive feedback to postdocs to develop their independent careers.” Read more about the award on the OPA website.
