October

  • First admission decisions are mailed. Students may submit the confirmation form and pay $200 enrollment deposit.
  • Be a Student for a Day Visit programs are held throughout the month. Registration may be completed in the visit section.
November January February March April
  • Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) priority deadline is April 1.
  • Students who have accepted an offer of admission to start in the summer at CU-Boulder, contact your department about registering for summer classes. Students starting in the fall will register for classes during orientation.
May
  • Students who have accepted their offer of admission will be mailed information regarding fall registration and orientation.
  • Students who have accepted an offer of admission to start summer session at CU-Boulder, contact your major department about registering for summer classes.
  • Look for Getting Connected Guide to arrive in May/June. Make dining plan selection online.
June July
  • Health form must be submitted before starting classes.
  • Register for classes at Orientation.
  • Look for fall tuition bill notification (mid-July).
  • Look for room assignment information from Housing to arrive via mail.
  • Final credentials for freshman and transfers starting in the fall must be submitted to the Office of Admissions by July 15.
August
  • Meet deadline for fall tuition payment.
  • Move-in starts four to five days before classes begin.
  • International students, athletes, and band members may be involved with early move-in dates.
  • Last summer orientation is offered one week before classes begin.
