Students Transferring from Colorado Four-Year Institutions

Colorado Four-Year Institutions

As a transfer student, you have already begun working toward some of your educational goals. To evaluate if CU-Boulder is right for you, review our admission criteria and then use the transfer of credit guidelines to assess how the course work you have taken might apply to the college or school you are interested in.

Step 1) Transfer Admission Criteria
When we evaluate your application, we will look at the types of courses you have taken, your GPA, completion of certain minimum academic preparation standards (MAPS), and SAT or ACT scores (unless you have completed 24 semester hours or more of transferable college level work at the time you apply.) Step 2) Credit Transfer Guidelines
The Office of Admissions does an initial evaluation of your transfer credit once you have been admitted and have confirmed your intent to enroll. The school or college to which you have been admitted makes the final determination of how your transfer credits apply. More>>
