Colorado Two-Year Institutions
If you are attending a Colorado community or junior college,
you can get transfer information on this web site, from your college counseling
staff, or from a CU-Boulder admission counselor. Admissions representatives
visit each of the 15 Colorado community colleges throughout the year and
also are available to assist you on the phone or by e-mail. Refer to the
community college contact page for a
schedule and contact information.
Step 1) Transfer Admission
Criteria
When we evaluate your application, we will look at the types of courses
you have taken, your GPA, completion of certain minimum academic preparation
standards (MAPS), and SAT or ACT scores (unless you have completed 24
semester hours or more of transferable college level work at the time you apply.) More>>

In the following section, you will find standards for guaranteed admission
to CU-Boulder for 15 Colorado two-year institutions. You will also find
course equivalency tables to help you plan your program of study and select
courses based on how they will transfer to CU-Boulder. More>>
Step 3) Credit Transfer Guidelines
The Office of Admissions does an initial evaluation of your transfer credit
once you have been admitted and have confirmed your intent to enroll.
The school or college to which you have been admitted makes the final
determination of how your transfer credits apply. More>>
