Who is an International Student?

You are an international student if you have, or will be applying for, a temporary U.S. visa (most commonly the F-1 and J-1 visas).

Who is NOT an International Student?

You are not an international student if you are a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, asylee, refugee, or if you have submitted the Form I-485 to the Department of Homeland Security in application for permanent residency status and have received a receipt for the form. Fall 2010 Processing Update- Graduate Students Only: We are currently at our peak processing time and in order to complete, evaluate, and forward your file to your department, we are currently unable to respond to e-mails requesting an application status check. If you sent your documents to the Office of Admissions using an express mail service and you received confirmation that our office received your materials, be assured that we your materials. If any item needed to make a decision is missing, we will contact you directly to request that item. We know you are anxious to hear about your application and we appreciate your patience.

If you are an applicant to one of the following departments, please continue to contact your department directly to check your status or to ask other questions: applied math, astrophysical and planetary sciences, atmospheric and oceanic sciences, biochemistry, chemistry, chemical engineering, French, geography, German, journalism, mcd-biology, music, physics, psychology, Spanish, technology, media and society (ATLAS), Center for Advanced Engineering and Technology Education (CAETE), School of Law, MBA program, business PhD degree.

Fall 2010 Online Status Check -- Undergraduates only: Self-service status check is live in your MyCUBoulder account under the "Apply" tab.
Summer 2010 Online Status Check -- Undergraduates only: Please go to https://hydra.cusys.edu/pinnacle/cgi-bin/sisget.cgi/bd/mwb360ps/ and log in with the student ID and pin number that was sent to you by the Office of Admissions.
Early Notification--UPDATE: We are working very hard to personally review each application, but our review process is taking a little longer than anticipated. We expect everyone who applied Early Notification to hear back no later than Feb. 1. Decisions are being released daily so keep checking MyCUBoulder. We know you are anxious to hear back from us and we appreciate your patience (same as frosh page)
