If you have a wide range of interests, pursuing a broad, liberal arts education might be right for you.

Program: CU-Boulder offers one of the most extensive liberal arts and sciences programs in the country. Choose from more than 50 majors, minors, and certificate programs offered in the humanities, social sciences, physical and biological sciences, fine and performing arts.

Facilities: New facilities include Benson Earth Sciences, housing an 11,000-square-foot library, an auditorium, and state-of-the-art laboratory-classrooms; Eaton Humanities, which includes 19 classrooms equipped with the latest instructional technology; and the ATLAS Institute offering multidisciplinary courses in a variety of media- and discipline-specific areas. A brand new Visual Arts Complex, one of the largest art facilities being built in the country, will house studio space and the CU Art Museum. The 180,000 square-foot building is slated to open January 2010.

Hands-on Learning:  The opportunities to learn first-hand are many in Arts & Sciences, from the ATLAS Black Box Theatre-an interdisciplinary performance space combining artists and technology, to Environmental Studies internships with the Sierra Club and The Center for Resource Conservation.
