The Chancellor's Citizenship Scholars Program, introduced in 2007, awards $25,000 over four years to students competitively selected from top Colorado incoming freshmen. Selection is based on students' high school records and activities, their resumes and their essays on the Colorado Creed.

All Day Visit Programs

Join us for Be a CU Student for a Day, CU Engineering Sampler, CU Diversity Sampler, or the CU Summer Sampler and you'll have the opportunity to go on a campus tour, attend information sessions with college and school representatives, participate in panel discussions, and eat lunch in a residence hall. Be a CU Student for a Day
The 2007-2008 Student for a Day programs are no longer available for reservation. Students and families are encouraged to attend our all-day CU Summer Sampler on Saturday, July 12, 2008. See the CU Summer Sampler link above to make a reservation. Our popular daily information sessions and campus tours are a great way to view the campus and get more information about our world-class academic programs, housing, financial aid, and student life.

CU Engineering Sampler
The Engineering Open House, held on Saturday, October 13, 2007, allows you and your parents to tour the engineering facilities, explore academic and career options with the dean, and meet faculty and current students. The program is free of charge, but participants must attend the entire day's program, checking in at the Engineering Center by 8:15am. CU Diversity Sampler
Prospective students and their families from diverse backgrounds are invited to participate in this additional visit opportunity on Saturday, February 2, 2008. Attend a sample lecture, visit with representatives from CU-Boulder's colleges and schools, and participate in a panel discussion. A resource fair featuring representatives from clubs, organizations, and other campus offices is also part of the day's activities. View available dates >>

CU Summer Sampler
The "CU Summer Sampler" Saturday program held on July 12, 2008 lets you and your parents listen to a sample lecture by one of our talented professors, tour the campus, eat lunch in a residence hall, attend a panel discussion, and meet with campus representatives. View available dates >>
