Guaranteed Four-Year Tuition
The uncertainty of tuition costs over a four-year program is a common concern we hear from nonresident students and their families. With this in mind, we offer a guaranteed tuition rate program for undergraduate students who pay nonresident tuition.
How to Participate
It's simple--as a degree-seeking nonresident student (freshman and transfer) you are automatically placed in a tuition guarantee group based on your first CU-Boulder term. Your tuition rate remains the same for four years from the date of this first term.
Four-Year Graduation Incentive
The tuition guarantee also serves as an incentive for you to graduate in four years. Currently 75% of nonresident freshmen and almost 90% of nonresident transfer students graduate in four years or less.
What Isn't Included?
Fees, room and board, and other non-tuition expenses are not included in the tuition guarantee. Colorado resident students, students on study abroad, and students taking only continuing education courses are not eligible for the tuition guarantee program.
