Students are admitted to one major and degree program initially. During their first semester of enrollment students may pursue a second degree or additional area of academic concentration beyond a chosen major. Minor programs are offered in a number of undergraduate departments and programs. If you have not yet decided on a major, you can select an "open option" or "undetermined" major (depending on the college or school). This allows you to explore different options during your first one or two years of study (view majors by College and School).
