Leeds School of Business

Accounting, finance, management, marketing, and systems are the five areas of emphasis in the Leeds School of Business. If you are seeking sound preparation for a career in today's competitive world of business, this is the school for you. The school maintains ongoing relationships with the business community through a variety of special programs, including the Visiting Executive Program, which brings business leaders to campus for classes, workshops, and seminars.

  • The Leeds School of Business educates and prepares students for management positions and promotes ongoing business research. Business faculty strive to deliver the most effective teaching in both management theory and real-world business applications.

  • Students earn a bachelor of science in business administration. In addition to an area of emphasis, students may choose one of the following areas of application: entrepreneurship and small business management, international business, or real estate.

  • The building housing the Leeds School of Business is currently undergoing a $33.3 million renovation and expansion. A 65,000 square-foot four-story addition is being added to the south side of the building. The renovated and expanded facility, scheduled to open in the fall of 2007, will feature the additional space and modern technology required for enhanced business teaching, learning, and research.

  • Interaction with the business community is a critical aspect of education provided by the college. Many students intern or work on class projects with local firms.
