Take your mind in new directions
CU-Boulder offers countless academic opportunities that will enhance your knowledge, prepare you for a career, challenge your intellect, and introduce you to brand-new thoughts and experiences.
As an undergraduate student, you will work toward a bachelor's degree in one of the following colleges or schools:
- College of Architecture and Planning
- College of Arts and Sciences
- Leeds School of Business
- College of Engineering and Applied Science
- College of Music
(Note: You may apply to the School of Journalism and Mass Communication or the School of Education after you have completed appropriate work in another college or school.)
Majors
You will be able to choose from over 3,400 courses in over 150 areas of study taught by award-winning faculty members.
We offer 85 majors at the bachelor’s level, covering a wide range that includes everything from english, environmental design, and integrative physiology to mechanical engineering, music education, and marketing, 70 at the master’s level, and 50 at the doctoral level.

Academic Opportunities

The Honors Program offers about 80 courses per year for qualified students. These courses are limited in enrollment to approximately 15 students.
At CU-Boulder, we created a selection of unique programs to meet your needs and interests.
