OPSCAN Scanner File Formats - Standard File Format

The file as it is copied directly to the disk, without any editing.

The file is a standard ASCII file with no special characters. It can be transferred to a diskette for any IBM compatible machine; or it can be uploaded to the internet, where it can be used there, or downloaded to the client’s machine.

The record (1 for each sheet) consists of a 355-character record split apart into 5 “card images” or lines with 71 characters in each. If less than 240 questions were used, several of the last lines for each record will be blank.
