Testing and Assessment Center (TAC)

The Testing and Assessment Center (TAC, formerly Scanning Services) offers Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) scanning, which includes exam grading of "bubble sheet" tests for instructors, survey tabulation for faculty, staff and students. We also provide editable text scanning via Optical Character Recognition (OCR). For scanning a document in .pdf format, contact the Document Management Center at (303) 492-7388.

What You'll Need

For "bubble sheet" scanning, provide points per question, what reports/special/files on which machine (PC/MAC), and, if possible, your speed-type number.
For text scanning, bring not only the document, but a formatted, blank 3.5" diskette, zip disk or CD (optional), a copyright waiver (where applicable), and a method of payment (cash or speed-type).
