How to subscribe to the Student Health Plans channel:
To add the Student Health Plans channel to your layout in CUConnect (https://cuconnect.colorado.edu), you have two options:

1. You can "reset your CUConnect profile" which will assign you the most current default CUConnect profile (layout). The downside to this approach is that you lose any customizations you may have made to your CUConnect profile; the upside is that, with this one quick process, you set yourself up with all of CUConnect's default features.

   Some features (channels) are part of the default CUConnect profile (layout) for students, profile for faculty, or profile for staff. As we add new channels to CUConnect, these default profiles may change - but the changes are not automatically made to the layouts for people already using CUConnect. When you log into CUConnect the first time, you are assigned the default profile that is current at that time. If you have been using CUConnect for some time, you can wipe your profile clean and add the latest channels by using the "Reset your CUConnect profile" feature available on the CUConnect login page. This replaces your old profile with the newest default profile including the most current set of default features.
   
   Note: Resetting your profile removes any customizations you made to your CUConnect (such as how channels are arranged, extra channels you've subscribed to and/or the color scheme you may have chosen). You can reestablish your customizations, using "My Settings," after you've reset your profile.
   



2. You can subscribe by clicking on the "My Settings" icon, selecting the Student Health Plans channel and specifying where you would like to place the feature(s).

   To subscribe to the Student Health Plans channel

   1. Logon to CUConnect (http://cuconnect.colorado.edu)

   2. Click "My Settings" in the upper right corner: 

   

   3. You'll get to the User Preferences page. Click on the words Financial Tab:

   

   4. We'll add the Student Health Plans channel to this tab. Click on a gray box that says "New Channel." Any one will be fine.

   

   5. Now it asks us to choose the channel we want to add. From "Select a Category to Browse" choose "Financial" and hit "Go".

   

   6. Scroll to Student Health Plans and add the selected channel.

   

   7. Your new channel shows in the User Preferences page. Click "Back" to get back to the portal. The new channel will appear on the Financial tab.
