CUConnect Student Schedule and Grades Channel

From the Schedule and Grades Channel, you can view your schedule on-line, print your schedule, finals schedule and/or book list, register for courses, view your class rank letter, and register your clicker. The on-line display (by campus and term) offers a primary display as well as a drill-down display with additional course details.

  • Primary display: course number and section, course title, meeting days and time, meeting location, term (during summer session), enrollment status, credit hours and, when posted, your grade for the course. All information in the primary display comes from your record in the Student Information System. If you have questions about this information, please contact the Office of the Registrar (registrar@colorado.edu or 303-492-6970).

  • Drill down display: reached by clicking on the course number in the primary display. Includes course number and name, instructor name, courses url (if available from the instructor), book list (if available from the CU Book Center), and course notes.

Primary Display

Schedule and Grades Primary Display

  1. Campus choices:
    • Boulder Main Campus (the default choice)
    • Continuing Ed Credit
    • Continuing Ed Non-Credit
  2. Term: defaults to current term. Drop down offers choices of up to three prior terms and one future term.
  3. Click on the submit button to request the display of your schedule for the desired campus and term. (Your schedule for the Boulder Campus current term will automatically display when you first display the Schedule and Grades channel.)
  4. Click the "Schedule, Finals, Books" button for a print-ready display of your schedule, and/or finals schedule, and/or book list for the requested campus and term. Click the "Register for Classes" button to register for classes. (Note, Registration availability is controlled by the Registrar's Office and the Student Information System and is not continuously available.)
  5. Your schedule for the selected campus and term. The "As Of" date at the top of the schedule reflects how current the information displayed is. Columns within the schedule include:
    • Course Number and Section. Click on the Course Number to go to the drill-down course detail including Instructor, course url, course notes, and book list information.
    • Course Title
    • Days (M=Monday, T=Tuesday, W=Wednesday, R=Thursday, F=Friday)
    • Meeting Times
    • Bldg/Room: The building and room where the course meets. If hot-linked, click on the link to find the location of the building on the campus map.
    • Term: Displayed primarily during Summer Session's multiple term schedule. (See Summer Session in the Academic Links channel for detailed information about summer session and terms.)
    • Status: such as enrolled, waitlisted, withdrawn.
    • Credit Hours: the number of credit hours the course is worth.
    • Grade Type: such as Pass/Fail or No Grade Assigned.
    • Grade: If the course has been graded, your grade will be displayed in the final column. (See Legend of Grades for detailed information about grades.)

After grades have been posted for the semester, your semester credit hours and corresponding GPA information is displayed beneath your schedule. For detailed questions regarding your GPA information, contact the Office of the Registrar (registrar@colorado.edu, or 303-492-6970)

Display with Grades Available

The drill down display shows course number, course title, instructor name, course notes, and, if available, course page url and CULearn url.  As soon as the information is available from the CU Book Store, the display (as illustrated above) also shows information about the books required for the class including Title, Author, whether the book is required or optional, and the new and used prices for the book.  All of the book list information comes from the CU Book Store.  If you have questions about the book information, please contact the CU Book Store at http://cubooks.colorado.edu

When you are done looking at the drill down page, click on “Return to main schedule” to return to CUConnect’s Schedule and Grades channel.

Legend for Grades

Your cumulative GPA is not final until all of your grades for the current semester are posted. Credit hours are updated nightly during the grading period. If you believe your grade information for a Boulder main campus course is incorrect, please contact the Office of the Registrar at 303-492-6907.

IF incomplete-regarded as F if not completed within one year
IW incomplete-regarded as W if not completed within one year
IP in progress, thesis at the graduate level
P passing -- under the pass/fail option, grades of D- and above convert to a P. Only 6 credit hours of course work may normally be taken pass/fail in any given semester.
W indicates withdrawal or drop without discredit
NC indicates registration on a no-credit basis;indicates incomplete course work for Continuing Education noncredit courses
NG no grades given (labs/recitations)
E or S student successfully completed noncredit course
H/P Honor/Pass/Fail

Grade Type Definitions
Blank Space Normal grading
PF Pass/Fail either elected or required for the course.
NG No grade assigned; usually lab and recitation.
RX only used on repeated courses; not calculated into the G.P.A.
