Emergency Telephones
You can use the emergency telephones, situated in strategic locations around campus and in the parking structures, to report crimes in progress, suspicious persons, medical emergencies, or concerns about your personal safety. Large 'Emergency' signs identify the emergency telephones. Marker lights illuminate the locations at night. Operating instructions are printed on the emergency telephones. Pushing the call button activates an alarm in the University Police Communications Center. Police officers will respond to the location of an activated emergency telephone, regardless of whether the Police Communications Center has voice contact with the person activating the telephone.
