The CU-Boulder Police Department provides protection of persons and property against criminal acts, and conducts investigations when crimes are committed. The police enforce state laws, municipal ordinances, and University rules and regulations. As a part of the Department of Public Safety, the Police Department is ready to respond to emergency and service calls related to crime, public safety, or security.
