Visionaries who saw the need to offer a unique experience to students and to pay it forward started PLC in 1972. Their vision continues today in a PLC community that provides financial support to our current students and to our programming. Your contribution has a first-order effect on students either individually or across the PLC program, and stays here at CU Boulder. Any amount makes a positive difference!

Here’s How You Can Help

More commonly known as the PLC Gift Fund, this fund provides the most flexibility as it’s used to support programming events like experiential weekends, First Year Orientation and Welcome BBQ, guest speaker receptions, Parents Lecture Reception, Graduation Reception, among many others that distinguish and enhance PLC. A select amount from this fund also supports enrichment scholarships and select PLC Alumni Club activities where current students participate. If you want to support a specific programming event such as First Year Orientation, contact the PLC staff in conjunction with your donation and your contribution will be recognized as having underwritten that event.

Usually referred to as simply the Douglas Endowment, this fund is named for one of PLC’s leading Founders. This fund supports First Year, student staff, and enrichment scholarships to both resident and non-resident students.

Your gift is permanently invested by the University of Colorado Foundation, generating interest that is used for the purpose you choose to support—PLC merit, students staff, enrichment or other targeted scholarships, programming events, and much more. Please contact the PLC Director Steve Dinauer or PLC’s Director of Development Katie Bullock if you have any questions about the many options to support PLC students financially.
