The 2017 academic year marks the 35th year of the Alvin G. Flanagan endowment and scholarship for students in the Presidents Leadership Class (PLC), Leeds Business School, and the current College of Media, Communication and Information (CMCI). It also marks the 22nd year that Cecil Walker and the Walker family have not only been stewards of the Flanagan scholarships but have also contributed thousands of dollars in scholarships each year along with the Flanagan awards. The Presidents Leadership Class is the proud, campus-wide administrator of both awards and would like to thank the donors and recognize the 2017-18 recipients of the Flanagan & Walker Scholarships.
