This lecture is a continuation of the first lecture on General Relativity, in which the concept of parallel transport of vectors was introduced. In the present lecture we extend this to discuss the following topics:
1. Raising and lowering indices with the metric tensor;
2. Covariant Derivative of the metric tensor;
3. Incorporation of the Principle of Equivalence into the formalism of tensor analysis;
4. Christoffel symbols of the second kind.
