Week 5 - February 9-13:
- OFFICE HOURS THIS WEEK: Monday office hours with Prof. Kinney will be in the tutorial bay, G2B77, from 3-4pm and 5-6pm. Tuesday office hours are in the same location and run from 4-6:00pm. If you cannot come to one of these sessions, send me an email, and I'll try to find another time.
- WRITTEN HOMEWORK: HW#5 is due Wednesday February 11 in class. The problems can be found at the assignments link (always available on the sidebar).
- EXAM 1 is Tuesday evening, February 17th at 7:15pm in Duane G2B90 (the Helproom). Old exam 1 questions are posted on our CULearn page.
- READING: Now we will focus on solving Laplace's equation using a number of techniques: read Griffiths' 3.1-3.3.
- TUTORIALS: This week we have a free form review tutorial, Friday (Feb 13) at 4pm at the G2B tutorial bay G2B77. We'll revisit material from the first weeks of the class in preparation for the first exam next week. Tutorials #1 - #4 are posted on the assignments page.
- HW SOLUTIONS: Solutions to HW1 - HW4 are posted on our CULearn page.
