Week 2 - January 19-23:

• OFFICE HOURS THIS WEEK: Monday is a holiday so there will be no help session. We will have Tuesday office hours/help session in the Gamow tower 11th floor commons room. Since there are no Monday hours, we'll start a little earlier, at 2:30PM instead of the regular 3:30 PM time, and run past 5:30 if necessary. If you can't come 2:30-5:30, send me an email, and I'll try to find another time.
  
  
• WRITTEN HOMEWORK: HW#2 is due Wednesday Jan 21 in class. The problems can be found at the assignments link (always available on the sidebar).
  
  
• READING: We're working on Coulomb and Gauss' laws, Griffiths' 2.1 and 2.2. Also we'll read 1.5 to brush up on the Dirac delta function.
  
  
• TUTORIALS: Tutorial #2 is this Thursday (Jan 22) at 2pm at the Gamow 11th floor Commons Room.
  
  
• HW SOLUTIONS: Solutions to HW1 are now posted on our CULearn page.
