HW Assignments and Tutorials for Physics 3310, Spring 09

Late Homework Policy: Due to the large class size, we have to be pretty strict about late HW, since it really causes problems for the graders. Assignments can be turned in anytime up to the start of class on the due date, of course. In the 24 hours following that, late HW will be accepted but with a 50% penalty. If the HW is turned in between 24 and 48 hours after it was due in class, it will still be accepted, but with a 75% penalty. After the 48 hour period has passed, late HW will no longer be accepted. This policy applies to unexcused late HW. If you have an illness or family emergency, contact one of us as soon as possible and we'll work something out without applying a penalty.

Solutions will be posted after the due date on the CULearn system.

TUTORIALS: Fridays at 4 pm: The tutorial sessions will be held in Duane G-2B77. Tutorials are an optional activity for this course, but you are strongly encouraged to participate. The goal of the tutorials is to provide you with a means to discover and resolve possible underlying misconceptions in the fundamentals of the course material. If you wish to get an academic credit from the tutorials, register for PHYS3311.
