Week 8/9:
Tutorial from class on Friday 3/16. This will be your long answer HW for Wed 3/21. Please check back for solutions to part 1.

Also, be sure to come to class Friday ... There will be an inclass Tutorial (like help session but better!) and yes, you'll get credit (and make significant progress towards finishing your Long Answer HW for Wed)
Midterm #2: Mar 13. Look at exam link for notes for studying, scope of mid-term, as well as sample problems.
Note if you haven't registerd your clicker you cant get points! List of folks w/o clicker registration. PLEASE register!
Week 7:
Mid-term scores are available on culearn. note: these are NOT grades, nor are they weighted. They do not include your dropped scores (lowest HW, or participation). Rather, they are meant for you to check and see if your scores on the midterm, hws, and class participation are the same as ours. Also, note that participation is only based on class participation and does not yet include reading quiz scores.

Weeks 1&2
Homework 1 is up and available. It is due next week (1/23 adn 1/24).
The first homework will be due week 2 (Tues midnight). Part of the homework will be to complete an online survey (participation is all you are graded for on this portion of the homework). If you have completed this survey for any class in Jan 07 that is sufficient.
Opportunity to talk about QM and earn $$: If you would like to participate in a one-hour interview for a research study about students' use of interactive computer simulations, please email Sam McKagan (Sarah.Mckagan@colorado.edu) . You will receive $15 for your participation!
Homework 1 solutions are posted and your m/c and essays are graded. Your can see your total grades on CULearn. Also, if you go to the homework page -> homework 1 -> view submission -> view attempt (next
to attempt 1, in drop down menu) you can check your answers against CUlearn answers. You can also see comments on graded essays, and a sample correct essay for all of those. NOTE: all participation points show up on essay #12.
You are required to bring a clicker (the iClicker variety) to class on day one, but do not worry about registering your clicker until week2.
