Note! More specific reading assignments, lecture by lecture, will be provided in my daily lecture summaries . This page is only intended to give you a rough overview or what we’ll be covering this semester.
Please read Ch. 1, and 2.1-2.3 right away, i.e. before the second class!
You are responsible for the introductory/background material in Ch. 1, but we won’t be covering it explicitly in the lecture. Your TA may discuss Ch. 1 a bit - if they don’t, feel free to ask any questions about it you might have!
As discussed in the syllabus, these reading assignments should be done BEFORE the lectures in question. I.e., you should finish the reading assignment before the lecture it’s listed for.
(For the purposes of this course, "lab weeks" run from Monday to Friday)
