Remember to choose phys2010 (not e.g. phys2020) in the pull-down menu on the logon page.

If you are not registered (i.e. have never gotten a CAPA assignment before for this class), send email to Steven.Pollock@colorado.edu giving me your name and student ID.

If you are registered with CAPA (i.e. if you have ever received a personalized CAPA assignment for this course, this semester) but lost your homework printout and are not sure about your PIN number for this week, you can verify that online by following the links at the bottom of the CAPA login page. (It will be emailed to you immediately, so be sure to include a valid return email address!)

I can't find my CAPA assignment in the CAPA dispensory in the basement.

Part of my CAPA assignment appears on my computer screen, but part is cut off with the message "Transfer interrupted".

This happens when you hit any key or click with the mouse while the page is downloading. Sometimes, when internet traffic is high, it may take many seconds or even a minute to download the whole page. Downloading is not complete until you see the message "Document: Done" at the bottom of the screen. If you touch anything on your keyboard, your PC interrupts the transfer to service the keyboard command. Moral: be patient, don't click anything till you see "Document: Done".
