Physics 1110: General Physics I

This is Thrust SSC , a British car that set the world's land speed record in Nevada in 1997: 763 mi/hr. (That's 341 m/s, 2% faster than the local speed of sound)

To assure a distraction free environment for all students, laptop computers, MP3 players, cell phones, and similar devices are not allowed to be used during lecture

To receive credit for clicker questions, you must attend the lecture section in which you are registered.

Summary of things to do during the second week:

  1. Complete the second Tutorial Pretest by Wednesday at 9 am.
  2. Complete the first Tutorial homework and turn it in at the beginning of your recitation on Thursday .
  3. Complete the CAPA homework by Friday at 10 pm. Instructions for getting CAPA if you enrolled late.

Reading: Start reading Chapters 1 and 2 in Young and Freedman.
