Welcome to Physics 1110!

First lecture is Mon. Aug. 27. First recitations meet Thurs. Aug. 30. Have a look at the course syllabus

Summary of things to do during or before the first week:

  1. Buy the text (Young and Freedman's University Physics,Vol. 1), Tutorials workbook and homework.
  2. Buy a clicker if you don’t have one already.
  3. Print out the syllabus. It is listed in the side panel at the left of this page.
  4. Follow the instructions on the syllabus for registering the clicker.
  5. Complete the first Tutorial Pretest by Wednesday at 9 am.
  6. Go to the lectures and your Thursday recitation. Lectures are in Duane G1B-30, at street level on the east end of Duane that faces toward Engineering.
  7. Complete the first CAPA homework by Friday at 10 pm. Instructions for getting CAPA if you enrolled late.

Reading: Start reading Chapters 1 and 2 in Young and Freedman.
