PHYSICS 1110 Lecture Notes

Below will be my lecture notes, chapter by chapter. I won't always cover all this material explicitly in class, but this is a good summary of what I intend for you to get out of the concept tests and discussions we have in the lectures!

I want YOU to start coming up with your own summaries like this, so I will not continue to provide these all semester. But, I'll generate them for the first half of the course. (They will be in "pdf" format, you need adobe Acroread software (free) to view it. Most likely your computer already has this built in.)

If you prefer a different style of notes, here is a link to an excellent set of lecture notes (from Prof. Dubson) They provide a good summary of the text material, we'll be following this material closely. (The chapter numbers are from a different textbook - they won't match exactly, but the order of material is nearly the same

Here is a link to yet another set of lecture notes from my 2010 course . These are "chatty", cover the same material at a slightly simpler level. If you're having trouble with the book and lectures, these should be excellent review/backup notes. (The chapter numbers don't line up, but the material is ordered nearly the same)
