An intro into welding . . . .

This isn't your typical lecture class. You don't just take notes and go home. This is active learning at its best! Thus our motto: Safety … Safety … Safety.

This hands-on course emphasizes "keeping your cool". All right - there's a lot more than that. Here's a sample of some of the most valuable information, aside from always wash your hands, you will ever learn.

  • Proper gear for safe welding.
  • Learn the use/care/storage of gas cylinders.
  • Choosing the right metal for success.
  • How to identify different types of metal.
  • The fundamentals of MIG, TIG, ARC, and oxy-acetylene welding.
  • How-to trouble shoot the common problems.

The Class Details:

  • Cost: $200.00
  • Classes are small - up to 6 students per class.
  • One week long - 2 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
  • Graduates receive a Risk Management Safety Card, which grants you access to use the shop facilities after class (we know you still need to get those one-of-a-kind widgets made and need a place to make them)
  • Classes fill-up very fast!
