An intro into welding . . . .
This isn't your typical lecture class. You don't just take notes and go home. This is active learning at its best! Thus our motto: Safety … Safety … Safety.
This hands-on course emphasizes "keeping your cool". All right - there's a lot more than that. Here's a sample of some of the most valuable information, aside from always wash your hands, you will ever learn.
- Proper gear for safe welding.
- Learn the use/care/storage of gas cylinders.
- Choosing the right metal for success.
- How to identify different types of metal.
- The fundamentals of MIG, TIG, ARC, and oxy-acetylene welding.
- How-to trouble shoot the common problems.
The Class Details:
- Cost: $200.00
- Classes are small - up to 6 students per class.
- One week long - 2 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
- Graduates receive a Risk Management Safety Card, which grants you access to use the shop facilities after class (we know you still need to get those one-of-a-kind widgets made and need a place to make them)
- Classes fill-up very fast!
