notify the Physics Office, 303-492-6952, a few days in
advance of the show you will be attending. Best
wheelchair access to Duane Physics is through the east

I have been trying to contact the CU Wizards
the morning of the show, why aren’t you answering?
We are only in the office Monday-Thursday 11:00
am-1:30 pm. (These times vary each semester.) Please
make sure you have directions and parking information
before you leave as we will be unable to assist you
via email or phone on the morning of the show.
Most relevant logistical information is available on
this website. The best way to contact CU Wizards
before the show is to email:
djnadmin@jila.colorado.edu
How old does my child have to be to attend
the CU Wizards shows?
CU Wizards is designed for students in grades 5-9;
however, all ages are always welcome.
Should I drop my child off/should I come in
with my child?
Your child should be accompanied by an adult, there
is no supervision at the show.
Do I need a reservation?
Reservations are not available, nor are they
necessary.
The weather is bad, will the CU Wizards show
be canceled?
Most likely not. As long as campus is open, the
show will go on! With that said, during times of bad
weather keep checking the website for updates as well
as your local news. Historically, shows have
continued even in the event of a blizzard.
Can the CU Wizards program come to my
school/community/event?
The CU Wizards program is unfortunately not mobile at
this time. We do have many other youth science
resources here at CU like our science discovery
program. Their website is http://www.colorado.edu/ScienceDiscovery
How can I join the CU Wizards email reminder
list?
There are two ways. After attending a show,
simply complete a feedback form and include your email
address. You will automatically be added to our
list. You may also send an email to djnadmin@jila.colorado.edu
to request to be added to the list.
