Abstract: Prof. Paula Turner, associate professor of physics at Kenyon College, will describe her work in developing a pre-college bridging program for minority and first-generation college students interested in the sciences at Kenyon, followed by a brainstorming session to identify ways to attract a more diverse population to pursue careers in physics.
