Abstract: This week we will be joined by Randall Draper, a member of CU’s Office of Contracts and Grants (OCG). He will discuss the proposal process at universities, how most young faculty establish and pursue their research agenda, and possible funding opportunities for scientists. We will discuss what, how, when, and why grads and post-docs might be involved and have a broader discussion after a short presentation.
