Before coming to CU, she taught at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1996 to 2005. Her main area of interest is in ancient Greek and Roman philosophy. She is the author of Epistemology after Protagoras: Responses to Relativism in Plato, Aristotle, and Democritus (Oxford University Press 2005). Recent courses she has taught at CU include Phil 3000 (History of Greek Philosophy) and Phil 4010/5010 (Aristotle).
