a Philosophical Conference Hosted by the University of Colorado at Boulder
The 2009 Colorado Conference on Dependence will be held near Boulder, Colorado, from Tuesday, March 17, until Saturday, March 21, and will be a relatively small, work-shop-style affair, with approximately 20 to 25 participants.

The idea behind this conference is to convene a group of internationally renowned philosophers from the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and Australia, who can contribute from different perspectives within philosophy (in particular, the philosophy of science, metaphysics and the history of philosophy) to our understanding of the increasingly important concept of dependence, and the role this notion can play in shaping a viable approach to metaphysics and philosophy in general for the 21st century.
