Boulder is chock full of activities and things to do. We encourage conference participants to come early or stay late. While you're here, consider engaging in these activities.
Be warned that Boulder is at 5,430 ft. The air is thin and the sun is strong. Pack accordingly. Read this list of high altitude tips, particularly if you plan to go hiking in the mountains.
Here is a map of recommended sites for food, drink, and play. Please note that there are many more restaurants and bars than those listed on this map. (A comprehensive list of restaurants can be found here.) Our list is aimed to give participants in the RoME conference a few tips about where to head for drinks and dinner after the plenaries.
