We are pleased to announce the Department’s Visiting Fellows for 2016-17.

The Visiting Fellows are distinguished faculty members who will be spending between two to 8 weeks on leave from their home institutions, in residence here at the CU Boulder Department (with shorter or longer stays that can be negotiated). The Visiting Fellows will spend most of their time in the Department conducting research but will also be expected to give a talk or two (depending on the length of their stay) and to do a few guest presentations in courses being offered by the Department. The department’s Visiting Fellow program is intended to complement the Visiting Fellows program run by its Center for Values and Social Policy, and hence is aimed at faculty working primarily in any area of philosophy other than the values area, where the values area is understood to include moral, social, political and legal philosophy.
