"Asia eating our lunch" (free trade vs. fair trade)

ohmygosh, yes

A friend wanted a new Microwave Oven.

Now, about 10 years ago, my family purchased a
Panasonic (so our dollars went to Japan, then).

But, today ?

What name could be more flashy than Avanti ?

Walk into any CVS today, and you can get a wonderous
Avanti Microwave for $39 (after a $10 rebate).

Walk into any industrial wholesale seller, carrying
mainly U.S. goods, and for $39 you might get a few
spare, minor parts.

Wake up!

***

Our trade deficit is through the roof!

We cannot keep being a "service" nation, where much
of our "service" is "financial dealings" over nothing.

Yeah. Some day China (Avanti) is to be some great
and wonderful market for us?

Have you checked out the level of, say, "global warming" that
scenario entails?

Can you imagine billions of Chinese driving SUVs ???

The downward curve on the oil supply would just flatten
out to nothing at all!

Regards,

Curtiss Priest
