Don Roper
Don Roper is Director of CSF (Communications for a Sustainable Future)
and professor of economics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
After graduating from the University of Chicago in 1970, he spent the
early seventies in the Division of International Finance at the Federal
Reserve Board in Washington D.C.
Other than his development of CSF, Don is best known for his work in "currency substitution" and
"exchange market pressure" -- categories of analysis now widely used in
international monetary economics. His research interests are
sustainable economics and social issues surrounding international
debt.
