American Philanthropy Review sponsors the Charity Channel, which is an online
community of nonprofit professionals You can go to Charity Channel for
its reviews of nonprofit books, and for its career page, searchable by
title, location or organization. Nonprofit organizations can also post

The
idealist web page is a project of Action
Without Borders. Action Without Borders' mission is to create a,
"a global coalition of individuals and organization working to

lives." Action Without Borders is a global coalition of individual
and worldwide organizations and is independent of government, political
ideology, or religious affiliation. The Nonprofit Career center site
within the idealist web page allows people to search for Jobs and Internships
anywhere in the world or U.S.A. It is also possible to browse all
current job openings in the world or just the U.S.A. A person can also

site offers a list of links to nongovernmental organizations with jjob openings all
over the world, though they specialize in jobs in Central
and Eastern Europe. A person can also search the Center's large
archive of current international jobs, internships and volunteer
positions. The Center for Civil Society also posts current conferences,
exchange programs, grant opportunities, and partnership requests. This
site is very useful for people looking for jobs overseas, especially in Asia and Eastern Europe.

Network is a very user friendly site, calling itself "the voice of the
nonprofit world and the marketplace for products and nonprofit
needs." You can search for nonprofit
jobs by region, using the clickable map, or search for a specific job
title. PNN posts current national and international job listings.
This site features job alert, an e-mail service that sends out updates on
jobs in the non profit sector. Looking for some extra help with grant
writing or fundraising? There are online classes available here
too. Current events in the nonprofit area are also posted on this site.

The Fund for Public Interest Researchh
FFPIR
is a national, nonprofit, grassroots organizing network working with progressive
organizations to solve some of the country's most pressing environmental,
consumer, and government accountability problems. Their current campaigns are with the
Sierra Club, Human Rights Campaign, the State PIRGs, and numerous other
groups. They offer mainly salaried, managerial fundraising positions, and they
also have conservation-related summer openings. You
