Here's how you can get a certificate in Peace & Conflict Studies at CU:
  • Before graduation, complete  PACS 2500, PACS 4500, 3 approved courses in your major and 3 approved courses outside of your major.  Most of this work (15 hours or more) must be at the upper division level.
  • It's that simple!  Many of your courses will work for your major and for your Core requirements and for PACS.
  • Therefore, you do not need to take very much additional coursework.  You simply need to take the two PACS courses, and choose approved courses in your major and electives.
  •  It's a simple and effective way to learn more about peace and conflict, and to gain skills to make the world a more peaceful place.
